Wellington is a world-class leg-spinner capable of turning a match on its head.
Often called on through the middle overs to slow an opposition’s run rate or prise a breakthrough wicket, Wellington can trouble even the best batters in the WBBL.
She has been among Adelaide’s top three wicket-takers in every season and was the competition’s top wicket-taker overall in WBBL|07 with a career-best 23 scalps, earning her Team of the Tournament selection.
Wellington also snared a sizzling 5/8 in the WBBL|07 Eliminator Final against Brisbane - a feat she equalled in WBBL|08 to have the best bowling figures in tournament history.
Clutch in high-pressure moments, Wellington has bowled the final over in both the Strikers Championship winning Finals and been named in the Team of the Tournament in both these seasons.
Wellington remains one of the most watchable players in the WBBL.
