The Adelaide Strikers will travel to Sydney this week to compete in the annual T20 Spring Challenge.
Taking on some of the best players from around the country, the tournament provides an important opportunity for players to fine-tune their skills ahead of Weber WBBL|12, which begins on October 31.
Amanda-Jade Wellington will captain the side. The Strikers' most-capped women's player, Wellington has never missed a match for the Club and has played all 152 games since making her debut.
The squad features a number of experienced state and Strikers players, including reigning joint Player of the Series Maddie Penna, alongside an exciting group of emerging talent.
The Strikers will face the Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes, Brisbane Heat and Sydney Sixers during the round-robin stage of the tournament, with finals to be played following the completion of the minor rounds.
