The Adelaide Strikers have added Jerrssis Wadia to their squad ahead of BBL|15.
Wadia, 24, is a bowling all-rounder who represents Tea Tree Gully in Premier Cricket.
He replaces Alex Carey as a local replacement player.
Head coach Tim Paine said Jerrssis was a welcome addition to the squad.
“Jerrssis is a huge talent and we’re excited to see what he can do,” he said.
“It’s a great opportunity and it’s a great sign for the Strikers Academy that he has been able to come through.”
The Strikers head to Sydney to take on the Sixers in their BBL|15 opener on Wednesday.
