Adelaide Strikers opening batter Katie Mack has been named in her first Weber WBBL Team of the Tournament.
An incredibly consistent performer who has made at least 250 runs in each of the last four WBBL seasons, Mack made 449 runs throughout WBBL|09 to help the Strikers to a home Final and was rewarded with selection in the WBBL|09 Team.
Joining Mack is Amanda-Jade Wellington, who has been named in her third consecutive Weber WBBL Team of the Tournament.
The leg-spinner took 20 wickets in WBBL|09, her third year in a row of 20+ wickets and had best figures of 3-4 in the Strikers historic innings against the Stars in their opening match of the tournament, where they bowled them out for a record-low of 29.
Mack also shone in that match, making her season-high score of 86 in what was her first of three half-centuries and three Player of the Match awards in WBBL|09.
Wellington's WBBL|09 bowling average of 12.6 is her best in nine seasons in the competition, while Mack's strike rate of 119.73 is her highest in the nine seasons.
The Team of the Tournament is selected by all eight Head Coaches in the WBBL. Mack earned seven votes and was listed to open, while Wellington received four and was named at eight in the batting order.
