Thirteen Adelaide Strikers have travelled from Melbourne to Brisbane to continue their whirlwind start to the WBBL|09 season.
Following back-to-back matches at Junction Oval against the Renegades and the Stars, the Strikers will now play the Hobart Hurricanes at Allan Border Field on Friday afternoon.
After being managed on Tuesday’s win against the Heat, all-rounder Dani Gibson should be available again to take on the Hurricanes.
Courtney Neale has returned to Adelaide due to illness and will rest up ahead of the Strikers’ next home game on Sunday at Karen Rolton Oval.
The Strikers currently reside in the upper tier of the WBBL|09 standings with two wins and a loss, sitting behind Brisbane Heat who are undefeated team in the early going. The Hurricanes are winless from their opening two encounters, including a loss to Perth Scorchers yesterday.
