King has made her mark on the tournament with a cameo 12 against Pakistan and an unbeaten 20 (off 15 balls) against Bangladesh and if she can continue to score with the power, will go a long way in helping the West Indies post sizeable targets in their remaining matches.
With two wins from their first two games, the West Indies’ fate lays firmly in their own hands, with games against India and England to come.
King joins Strikers teammates, Sophie Devine (New Zealand), Sarah Taylor (England), Megan Schutt and Sarah Coyte (Australia) at this year’s World Cup, making it a tournament to watch for all Strikers fans.
