What to know before you go: Strikers v Renegades

Novita volunteers will be roaming the concourse collecting donations for their ConnectABILITY program, which aims to get kids living with a disability involved in sport.

There will also be a pre-game on field mascot race between Adelaide Strikers Mascots Smash and Summer and Novita mascots Stella and Stevie. 





The Ticketek Box Office will be open from 4.30pm and is located out the front of the Southern Plaza.

Tickets are limited and are likely to sell out so it is advised you arrive early to the Oval.

Be sure to stay in your seat at the innings break when the Adelaide Strikers give away a Jeep Renegade to one lucky fan!

Thanks to Wirra Wirra, for every SIX hit by the Adelaide Strikers at Adelaide Oval, Wirra Wirra will donate six bottles of its iconic Church Block into the Strikers Cellar as part of the ‘Six for 6’ promotion.

At the end of each game one lucky fan will walk away with the contents of the Strikers Cellar. On New Year's Eve, the lucky winner won 48 bottles!

Eastern Kids Zone - set up just inside the Victor Richardson gates at the south-east corner of the ground, with plenty of free kids’ activities including a dunk tank and cricket nets, appearances from Strikers players, plus our mascots will also be appearing.

As you approach the gate to enter Adelaide Oval, keep a look out for our staff giving out free gear. There will be flashing headband bows, Strikers wigs and fans!




The Adelaide Railway Station's northern (Riverside) doors have been closed since the 6th December 2016 for approximately 12 months due to the Festival Plaza redevelopment. This closure and construction in the area will have an impact on access to the Adelaide Oval for the remainder of the 2016/17 cricket season.

Renewal SA have developed a revised access plan for those walking to Adelaide Oval to ensure the safest and most convenient passage.

We suggest you leave a bit earlier for the first Strikers match to get used to the revised routes.




Limited parking is available in the northern car park at Adelaide Oval for $20 from 4.00pm. Or, you could park in the Adelaide CBD, where there are numerous options.

A designated drop-off zone for patrons with a disability will be available on War Memorial Drive. For access inquiries, please call the Adelaide Oval SMA on 8211 1100. 


Road Closures:

• War Memorial Drive will close at 4.00pm and re-open at 11.00pm.

• Pennington Terrace will close at 9.30pm and re-open at 11.00pm.

• King William Road will close at 9.30pm and re-open at 11.00pm

• Traffic Marshals will be positioned on Festival Drive for arrival and departure of fans as they move across the roadway.


Drop Off Zones – For patrons with a disability

• War Memorial Drive – Located in front of the Tennis Centre

• King William Road - just north of the East Car Park entry point


Taxi Zones

• Pennington Terrace

• King William Road – north of the East Car Park entry point

• Montefiore Road





Capacity is estimated at 53,000. The Southern Stand is split into SACA Members areas, Strike Force Members and reserved seating areas. The eastern stand has reserved and unreserved sections available.  The northern end has reserved and unreserved sections.

Disabled seating is available in the western, eastern and southern stands. There are allocated disabled car parks in the northern car park.
