The Adelaide Strikers will play six BBL matches at Adelaide Oval and will also return to Alice Springs as part of the first full home and away season.
The defending Big Bash champions will again be guided by Australian cricket great Jason Gillespie, who has re-committed to the club on a new two-year deal.
A host of big-name players are set to return in blue including Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan, South African big-hitter Colin Ingram, pace ace Billy Stanlake and fan favourites Peter Siddle and Alex Carey.
The Strikers’ WBBL side will also aim to build on last season’s semi-final appearance with several home matches scheduled at Adelaide Oval and the newly redeveloped Karen Rolton Oval at Park 25.
Tickets go on sale via Ticketek from 11am on Thursday, 4 October. Prices for the upcoming BBL season remain unchanged for the eighth consecutive year with a range of affordable, family-friendly options available.
Fans are reminded Ticketek is the official and authorised agency for Big Bash tickets. The Adelaide Strikers strongly recommend all purchases via Ticketek for value and authenticity.
