Blundstone Arena will host Hobart's rebel WBBL Big Weekend, with the Strikers set to take on the Hobart Hurricanes on Saturday night under lights, followed by a clash against the Thunder Sunday morning.
A quick turn-around can be challenging, however preparation has been put in place by support staff in the lead-up.
The squad has completed some trainings in the evening and followed it up with morning sessions, putting a focus on proper recovery.
Strikers Strength and Conditioning Coach Anthony Gallomarino says recovery is key for this kind of schedule.
"We are prioritising sleep and nutrition, meaning that there will be really minimal activity after the game on Saturday, allowing the players to wind down easily and have a good night's sleep.
"I'm confident that all the work the girls have done in the lead-up will help them to be able to back up in a short space of time."
The Strikers sit second on the WBBL table with a 7-3 record behind only the Brisbane Heat who have played one more match.
Saturday's match will be live on 7 Mate and Fox Cricket, while Sunday's game can be streamed on Kayo, cricket.com.au and the CA Live smartphone app.
