A new partnership between the Renegades and the City of Ballarat will see the club host the clash at Eastern Oval on Sunday 9 December.
The Big Bash continues to take the game to new markets, with the Strikers men also heading to the country for a match this summer.
After being the first club to play matches in Alice Springs, the Strikers are committed to growing the game and making it accessible to more people.
Ballarat Mayor Samantha McIntosh said hosting a WBBL match aligns with the city’s commitment to create more opportunities for female participation in sport.
“This announcement is such a positive step forward for our city and for the growing number of women and girls choosing to play cricket in Ballarat.
“For the first time, female cricket has never been more accessible in Ballarat and the arrival of Women’s Big Bash League means our growing number of female competitors will no longer have to look far for inspiration.”
The Adelaide Strikers women will open their WBBL|04 campaign on Sunday 2 December at CitiPower Centre in Melbourne.
