Jon Wells has been the Adelaide Strikers' leading runscorer this season.

As the Adelaide Strikers prepare for another final series, here’s a snapshot of some stats from BBL|09.

8: The number of wins for the Strikers from 13 completed games during the regular season of BBL|09.

444: The leading runscorer for the Strikers is Jon Wells. He has scored 444 runs from 326 balls in 13 innings, reached 50 four times, had a highest score of 68 and a strike rate of 136.2. Jake Weatherald was next highest among the Strikers in the regular season with 389 runs.

44: Openers Jake Weatherald and Phil Salt have both hit 44 fours, ranked only behind Alex Hales and Marcus Stoinis (53 each).

18: Leading wicket-taker for the Strikers is Rashid Khan, one more than Peter Siddle.  Rashid has bowled 51.2 overs in the series so far, with a best of 4/22.

164.8: The batting strike rate of hard-hitting Welshman Phil Salt, who has made 356 runs (including four 50s) from 216 balls in his debut season.

13: The number of sixes hit this season by Jake Weatherald and Alex Carey. Perth Scorcher Liam Livingstone topped the BBL list with 27.

207: The Strikers’ highest score of the season was not enough to beat the Hurricanes in the last game.

83: Jake Weatherald smashed 83 from 47 balls in the opening game of the season against the Perth Scorchers, the highest score by a Striker this season.
