It marked the second-best bowling figures produced by any Australian bowler in T20I cricket behind only James Faulkner’s 5/27 in early 2016, which also came against Pakistan.
His economy rate of 2.00, which included 18 dot balls, was also the lowest recorded by any Australian in the format.
Pakistan was dismissed for 116 leaving Australia to cruise to the total with nine overs to spare.
