The Strikers defeated the Renegades by 60 runs on Tuesday night, with an allround fielding performance backing a solid showing with the bat which raised them to a competitive 5/171.
Current owner of the BKT Golden Arm Wes Agar said his team won’t be resting on their laurels.
“(The Renegades) are a team that really has nothing to lose, they’re a team that we can go out and we have to be wary about, they can play with freedom and I think that’s something we have to focus on going into this game," he said.
“Aaron Finch is a massive threat and something that we need to be wary off, he’s a world-class player, he’s captain of the Australian white ball team for a reason, so we’ll have our plans in place and hopefully we can execute them.”
Strikers captain Travis Head and Michael Neser will remain with the Australian Men's Cricket Team in Sydney.
