Sole Striker included in Team of the Tournament so far

One Striker features in cricket.com.au’s BBL|08 Team of the Tournament so far.

Star leg-spinner Rashid Khan was selected at No.8 in the order after what has been another stellar Big Bash season to date from the young Afghanistan livewire.

The leading wicket-taker of BBL|07, Rashid sits third in this year’s standings with 13 scalps just two wickets behind overall leader Steve O’Keefe despite playing one less match.

Rashid’s economy rate of 4.90 and average of 12.07 are also comfortably the best in the league of any player to bowl more than 10 overs.

Ladder leaders the Hobart Hurricanes and the Sydney Sixers both have three representatives apiece in the Team of the Tournament so far.

All other teams have one player named except for the Melbourne Stars, which is the only club without a player included inin the
