The other semi-final will be between the Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars at the WACA on Sunday 25 January. The two winners then play in the ‘Big Final’ at the neutral venue of Manuka Oval in Canberra on 28 January.

After four massive crowds at Adelaide Oval this season - at an average of 36,023 people - tickets are expected to be extremely popular for the Strikers first final in the four years of the Big Bash League. The Strikers have set their sights on breaking the record for the biggest crowd in Big Bash history of 46,581, set by Stars v Renegades at the MCG in January 2013.

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets for the semi-final at Adelaide Oval are now on sale via Ticketek.

During the public sale from 12pm, tickets will be available via online (Ticketek direct link here), by phone (13 28 49) or via Ticketek outlets (find your nearest outlet here), including the Adelaide Oval Box Office in the Southern Plaza (which will be open from 9am-5pm on Friday and from 9am on Saturday).

The maximum tickets per transaction in the public ticket sale is 9. Children aged 5 and under are admitted free to the public areas however they require an U18 ticket if they are going to occupy a seat
