A genuine matchwinner, Shaun Tait returns to his home town to help the Strikers feature again in finals action.
Tait has played 19 T20 internationals for Australia taking 28 wickets at 17.78.
He has played 80 domestic T20 matches and has taken 103 wickets at 21.79.
A member of the Melbourne Renegades squad last year, 29-year-old Tait can’t wait to perform in front of the Strikers faithful.
“I’m champing at the bit to get out there with the Strikers,” Tait said.
“It’s also great to be back home playing cricket in Adelaide.”
Holding the record for sending down the fastest delivery ever bowled by an Australian at 160.7km/h against Pakistan in early 2010, Shaun ‘The Wild Thing’ Tait has had a stellar career in the shorter format.
Taity says he’d probably be moving lawns and playing country football if he wasn’t a cricketer however he thinks being a major league baseball player would definitely come with its perks.
