    Intro

A dashing stroke maker by nature, Phil Hughes has an outstanding record in the T20 format.

Having just come off a successful stint in England in Worcestershire where he was one of the leading run scorers, Hughes has made 849 runs from 24 domestic T20 matches, averaging 47.16, well above most batting averages in the shortest form.

“Chuck Berry is renowned for doing things differently and I can wait to play T20 under him.  It’s a talented list that’s been put together and I’ve played with a number of the boys on national teams before.

South Australian cricket is set to make a big step forward and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

"Hughes was one of the leading run scorers in the English T20 competition. He is in stellar form and will be an exciting inclusion in the Strikers top order. " Darren Berry
