One of the real breakout stories of BBL|02, Kane Richardson was a dominant figure for the Strikers and did it all.
Lightning fast and one of the best death bowlers in the business, ‘Richo’ took 10 wickets at an average of 21.50 in BBL|02 at an economy of 7.25. Richo ripped through the Sydney Thunder with 3/9 and was on a hat-trick.
Down in Hobart against the Hurricanes, Richo produced one of the highlights of the summer with an amazing outfield catch near the boundary rope. When it looked like he wasn’t going to get to the high ball at mid-wicket, Richo dived and stuck out one hand to pluck one of the great T20 catches; even the Hurricanes faithful were amazed.
Now one of the pin up boys of Adelaide, Richo proudly stands out with his tattoos. A mad Crows supporters and huge NBA fan, Richo did a stint recently in the IPL with the Pune Warriors and will be one of the marquee men for the Strikers in BBL|03.
