A dynamic all-rounder, Michael Neser made a huge impact on BBL|03, winning the team's Most Valuable Player award, before being forced out of BBL|04 due to injury.
Neser had the best strike rate of any bowler in BBL|03 (14), and took ten wickets, behind only Shaun Tait with 11. He also scored his runs at better than a run a ball, including a 35* in the final game against the Melbourne Renegades. His most impressive bowling performance of the season was against the Sydney Thunder, when he finished with 3/24. He also was influential in the field with five catches and one run out.
The Queenslander, who was born in South Africa, has already played 24 domestic T20 matches and given he is still only 25, has a big future ahead of him.
