Charlotte Edwards

A right-handed batter and part-time legbreak bowler, English superstar Charlotte Edwards made her international debut against New Zealand in 1996 at the age of 16. She later went on to captain England from 2006 until 2016.

Edwards has represented England in 23 Tests, 191 ODIs and 95 T20Is and became the most capped international female cricketer in the history of the game. She led England to victory in the 2009 World Twenty20 Championships and was the first player (either male or female) to make 2500 runs in T20 internationals.

Edwards finished WBBL|01 as the second highest overall runs scorer, making 462 off 446 balls, while playing for the Perth Scorchers.
