As Australia’s most prolific T20 batsman, Brad Hodge has continued to dominate the short form of the game since his first-class debut as a 19-year-old. With over 6000 runs, Hodge brings both skill and experience to the Strikers batting line-up in his dual role as player and assistant coach.
Ranked in the top 10 for total runs and most sixes in the competition, Hodge missed all but two games for the Strikers last season with a broken arm.
However the ageless veteran recovered to show he is still a force to be reckoned with during his recent stint in the Caribbean Premier League, averaging an incredible 42.75 runs per match for the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
With a T20 batting average of 36.5 at a strike rate of 130.3 and experience on some of the biggest stages in international cricket, Hodge will be sure to add serious fire power to the Adelaide Strikers line-up in BBL|05.
