There is no doubt BBL|02 has provided its fair share of highlights. Currently sitting third on the ladder, the Adelaide Strikers have made a habit of taking to the field and wowing crowds.
From the likes of spin sensation Saeed Ajmal to the thunderbolts hurled down by Shaun ‘Wild Thing’ Tait and Kane ‘Richo’ Richardson, the Adelaide Strikers boast some of the most dominant bowlers in world T20 cricket.
The Wild Thing and Richo have been at their fearsome best, claiming eight wickets a piece and are firing up at the business time of the season.
Coach Darren ‘Chuck’ Berry’s ‘spin to win’ philosophy is no secret and with captain,
Johan ‘Boats’ Botha, Cam ‘Rolls’ Boyce, Brad ‘Youngy’ Young and Ajmal in the team, opposition batsmen rarely last long.
Not to be outdone, the blokes in the field have supported their bowlers, throwing themselves around in the field. Two handed catches are becoming a thing of the past; just ask Kieron ‘Polly’ Pollard and Kane ‘Richo’ Richardson.
Captain, Johan ‘Boats’ Botha, has led from the front with a team high four run outs and is second behind Klinger with four catches.
