Adelaide Oval has hosted an Australia-wide first with a select group of social media experts taking part in the inaugural Striker Twitter Pit.
The group viewed the game from the press box, tweeting about the Strikers v Heat BBL|02 game at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.
Samara Jaeger, Mikael Liddy, Claire Swanson, Tom Christiansen, Sophie Liddy, Henry DeCure, Brett Farmilo and Olympic gold medallist Anna Meares were all on deck, tweeting updates throughout the game.
Sophie said the experience was an enjoyable one, with the high octane game perfect for social media.
“The atmosphere is pretty amazing, with lots of things happening all at the same time – with the batting, the fireworks, the dancing and plenty going on for the fans, so it’s really been fun night,” she said.
